It’s 2012.
In fact… we are almost already 1/24ths through 2012! How in the heck did that happen? One day I’m building a Lego VW Bus and the next day I’m already 11 days behind on my New Year’s resolutions. Pffff…
I guess I can’t complain too much, because our first 1/24ths of 2012 was spent here:

La Ventana is a remote town on the Sea of Cortez, 2.5 hours north of Cabo. Its population is somewhere around 1500, and it’s filled mostly with Kite Surfers. And if you don’t kite surf?
Well, you end up doing a lot of this:

And this:

Which often results in a lot of this:

Every morning we woke up to this:

Every night we fell asleep to this:

And one evening, we were lucky enough to witness this (I mean, seriously, how is it possible for a sky to go through so many transformations!?!):

Oh, and one day we did do this (my heart still starts beating like crazy when I think about it!):

Picture courtesy of here. We’re still waiting for our under-water photos to be developed.
Not a bad way to kick-off the New Year, huh? Totally worth delaying the start of those 2012 goals. :-(D
And guess what? I have 3 more posts scheduled for the next 3 days! Gettin’ back on the blogin’ bandwagon, I am.
How did you spend the first 1/24th of 2012? Have you ever swam with the whale sharks? Did you freak out like me?
Wow, that looks like an amazing trip! Hope you guys had a wonderful holiday! We haven’t been swimming with sharks or anything like that, but I am going to Hawaii next week! :) the first 1/24th of 2012 has treated us well – excited for another fun-filled year! Xo!
Hawaii! That will be wonderful. Are you re-living your honeymoon? Make sure Jeremy’s ring is kept in a safe place when you go snorkeling. :-(D Hopefully 2012 will bring us a couple of get-togethers… We need to do dinner soon!
